Laboratory Reconstitution Guidelines

When preparing lyophilized peptide powders for analytical experimentation, follow sterile laboratory protocols:

1. Allow the sealed peptide vial to reach room temperature before reconstitution to prevent condensation inside the glass container.
2. Clean the rubber stopper with an isopropyl alcohol sterile wipe and allow it to air-dry.
3. Using a sterile syringe, draw the exact volume of Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) indicated by the calculator.
4. Gently angle the needle along the inside glass vial wall and allow the diluent to slowly flow down. Never inject liquid directly onto the lyophilized cake.
5. Swirl gently until completely dissolved. Never shake vigorously, as mechanical agitation can disrupt delicate peptide disulfide bonds.
